Just last year I was attending the EXPO in Dubai during the XMAS time, and I can confirm you that standing there in Al Wasal Dome looking up and watching the light show was one of the best experiences of my life. Even willingly I couldn't remove that picture from my head.

After all, London is THE place to be for walking around the draped with lights streets around the Christmas. It is one of those things which I want to do the moment I will step in the southern city. For those who are devoted followers of the religion I think the best time out in London for you can be to attend the Carol Services. Because a) they are a holistic experience for anyone who wants that complete experience of Christmas b) London has many historic churches and cathedrals. St. Paul's Cathedral and Westminster Abbey are widely known for their special Christmas services.

So, it doesn't matter if you are a local or tourists attending it. A Carol Service can both simulating to mind as well as an excellent opportunity for the families to have a great time. Yet when the XMAS rolls around in town it never fails to transform itself into THE place to be for 25th of December and a huge reason for it is the surge of attractions that are set up in the city district for the last two weeks of the year.
